With Sherlock's return set for next month, a new mini-episode has been released bridging the gap between Season 2 and Season 3. Check out the seven-minute short below, written by Sherlock producers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, and focusing on Inspector Lestrade (Rupert Graves). And yes, you'll also see Watson (Martin Freeman) and even Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) too... in a way.

Sherlock: Season 3 debuts January 1st in the UK and January 19th in the US.
